Training Week is over...

I learned a great deal on how schools are implementing new technologies into the classroom. The Promethean boards were all new to me, and I cannot wait to come up with ways for teachers to really use them to their maximum potential. I know that I may have a zero dollar budget and are limited to offering "free" ideas for open-source software, but if the school board decides the students will benefit from purchasing software, I will offer them some solutions for that as well. So far, all I know is my school will be Gulfport Highschool or Gulfport Ninth Grade. I will post more details as soon as my teacher / mentor send them.

I'm on TV!

Well today, Randy and I went to Gulfport High to be a part of the IP Casino check presentation for DOT / TeachUp! I only wish I did not trade a nice breakfast for energy drinks and an all-in-one vitamin. I was excited to see how well the students are taking to all of the new technological changes in the classroom. I cannot wait to be around to help other teachers use these new forms of communication and teaching tools!
